Effective April 1st 2018, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFA) has suspended the requirement for foreign employees in the UAE to provide an attested Police Clearance Certificate, also referred to as a Certificate of Good Conduct.

The change comes after apparent complaints arising from visa processing delays as a result of the previous requirement. This suspension is in effect until further notice from the UAE government.
